Devyn loves the game of volleyball; She loves the competition, seeing the rewards of her hard work, sacrifice, and discipline. She also loves the friends she makes along the way.
Devyn is most inspired by college volleyball player Harper Murray. Harper’s ability to push through trials and tribulations is very inspiring. Devyn feels Harper is a role model to her generation because of her perseverance, determination and ability to keep going no matter what life throws at her.
Devyn has given our family a lot of moments to be proud of; I would say the thing that makes me the proudest is the awards she received that are byproducts of athletics. Devyn received the award for “Most motivational,” as well as “Best Labs” (conditioning). Those two awards show her character, drive, and commitment to both herself, and her team. Those two awards also highlight the positive traits/life skills she is developing through participating in team sports.
