Receive Text UpdatesAt just 3 years old, Dex began learning the game with patience and focus. While other kids chased after the ball like seagulls scrambling for food—shouting “mine, mine, mine!”—Dex stood ready, locked in, prepared to make a play. His love for the game runs deep, but what sets him apart is his passion for training and mastering every position on the field. He doesn't want to be limited to just one spot—his goal is to become a true utility player, ready to step in wherever his team needs him most.
Right now he loves Mauricio Dubón's story and versatility. He shares the same passion for the game and is a just put me in type of player. Dex's goal is to play every position in one game. He has done it in a tournament but not in one game alone.
As a versatile player, Dex has the instincts of a shortstop, the speed and range of an outfielder, the toughness of a catcher, and the arm of a pitcher. While some people feel the proudest watching a home run fly out of the park, for me, it was seeing his instincts take over as he snagged a line drive hit straight at him while pitching—at full speed. That moment proved he’s ready for anything thrown his way. Proudest moment ever.
