Diego is the athlete of the year! Whether it be football or baseball he gives it 110%. He’s a born leader and a friend to everyone.

Diego loves that sports gives him the opportunity to make new friends all while learning and playing the games that he loves. In the field he’s in his zone and takes every chance he gets to excel at every position given.
His dad inspires him to work hard and always give it his all. To never quit and know his worth. He’s also inspired by Micheal Parsons because he’s a defensive player just like him. He likes that he encourages kids to strive for their goals.
One moment that makes me the proudest was when he hit his first out of park homerun. He had been in a bit of a funk but continued to cheer on his teammates and at his bat he took a breath and gave smacked it out of the park! The joy in his face makes all his hard work worth it.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
