Thank you for generously supporting Dillon in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Dillon loves the fact that in high school it gives him the opportunity to play his sports with older athletes. Therefore, the competition is ultimatly competitive, and it makes him work harder to become a better athlete. He also loves the fact that his sports teach him how to work well with others by building community/networking with his teammates parents and building a brotherhood bond with his teammates and coaches.
Dillon states that his father and I are the ones who inspires him. He states that we are the ones who have taught hin to have great work ethics on and off the field or court. He states that we have taught him how to stay disciplined mentally and physically in the classroom and while participating in the sports he loves.
My proudest moment is when Dillon developed a more intimate relationship with God, which has helped him navigate the physical and mental challenges associated with the reality of him missing the entire 2025 football season (junior year) due to surgery on 4/26/25, from a torn ACL. He has not allowed the injury to derail his goal of playing college football and basketball. He has attacked his rehab with laser focus and a Godly spirit. He doesn't complain, he preserves and work!!!!
