What I love most about playing football is the feeling I get when I'm on the field — like nothing else matters except the game. It’s the adrenaline, the competition, and the bond with my teammates. I love pushing myself, making a great play, and hearing the crowd react. It gives me confidence, keeps me focused, and gives me a purpose. Football has taught me discipline, how to work hard, and how to keep going even when it gets tough. It’s not just a sport — it’s where I feel like I belong.
What inspires me most, both on and off the football field, is my family especially the ones who aren’t here anymore. I think about them every time I suit up. I play for the people who believed in me from the start, even if they can’t be in the stands now. My parents and family have sacrificed so much, and I carry their support and love with me every time I step on that field. The lessons they’ve taught me — to never give up, to stay humble, to work hard — those stick with me every day.
Being a part of my varsity football team is one of the greatest honors I’ve had. Every time I put on that jersey, I feel a deep sense of pride, not just for the game, but for what it represents. I’m playing for more than just wins; I’m representing my school, my community, my family, and myself. I think about the people who support me the teachers who believe in me, the fans in the stands, my teammates who fight beside me, and my family who never gave up on me. A feeling I’ll carry forever.
