I love the feeling I get when I’m on the football field. I feel relieved of all my problems and it’s a place where I can channel my big emotions and it feels like therapy to me.
My family inspires me, because that’s who I do it for. They all have worked hard to reach their goals. I want them to be proud of me & I want to build a legacy. Especially my mom. I have watched my mom work so hard to take care of me, take me back & forth to 5 am work outs, & volunteer. This is my senior year & she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, so she hasn’t been able to do all that she normally would, but she’s still stayed positive & shown up for me. She is truly an inspiration.
My most proudest moment was getting my first college offer, because it showed me that by taking a risk you can beat the odds despite people not understanding your vision. If you work for something and you have that vision and believe in yourself, you can do anything, and that’s what makes me so proud. Because despite what anybody said, I decided to bet on myself and show everyone that I could do anything I set my mind to.
