Donovan was given the opportunity to play for the SAWUSA (Student Athlete World USA) last summer. Watching him dedicate himself to studying, training, and working out, while still managing to complete his daily responsibilities without missing a beat, truly impressed me. He even went above and beyond by researching how athletes trained in Portugal and obtaining a FIBA basketball to get a feel for how the ball would feel.
