What Dont’e loves most about playing baseball is the combination of having fun and constantly challenging himself to grow as an athlete. He dedicates time every day to practicing and refining his skills, which reflects both his deep passion for the sport and his commitment to personal improvement. His daily efforts underscore how seriously he takes his development and how much he values the game.
Dont’e is inspired by Roman Reigns because he sees him as a strong leader who takes care of his family and helps others. He looks up to him as a role model of confidence, responsibility, and being someone others can count on—qualities Dont’e strives to show both on and off the field.
One of Dont’e’s proudest moments in his athletic journey was making a select travel ball team. After trying out for another team multiple times without being picked, he stayed determined. Through hard work, prayer, and support from his family, he made a different team on his first try. It showed him that dedication and belief in yourself can open new doors.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
