What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The game!! Whether it’s football or basketball, he lives everything about it! The IQ, watching film, playmaking, the team atmosphere, grinding, the challenges, becoming better and conquering the goals he sets for himself and as a team!!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mom! Seeing the hard work she puts into every day not only to keep our house afloat but my dreams too! Whether it’s sports, education or life goals she will do whatever she can to put me in a position to succeed and I appreciate and love her for that!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The growth! Seeing him playing from a young age and growing into a young man. The transformation, grit and dedication! Through each challenge he takes it on and overcomes!
