What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Fall Soccer Season has begun!! Even though Drew’s heart is with baseball he carries his enthusiasm, discipline, keeping his team going and teamwork into soccer. It’s quick action and so exciting for him whether he’s the one making the goal or a teammate! He loves the game, on the field or as the goalie. He’s fast on the field and quick at the net! After Fall Soccer he looks forward to going to the woods hunting with his Dad, bow and gun. Drew Morrison puts his all in whatever he’s doing.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Drew Morrison’s Dad and Coach inspire him! His Dad because of the pride, love and support he has for Drew and the hard work, determination and passion he has for his sports. His Coach because of the care, hard work and lessons learned.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Drew Morrison’s first time pitching he got a line drive to his chest, knocked him down! He was down for a while. I thought he would be taken out but after he sat up and his Coach asked him if he wanted to continue or go out, he said he wanted to continue! I was so proud of him! No one would have blamed him if he chose to go out at that time but he chose to continue and still pitches! Drew puts his heart into every sport he is playing! So proud of his determination and discipline!
