What I love most about playing sports is the feeling of being part of a team and pushing myself to get better every day. I love the competition, the energy of the game, and the friendships I’ve made through it. Win or lose, it teaches me how to work hard, stay focused, and never give up.
My biggest inspiration on and off the field is my mom, dad, older brother, and coaches. On the field, they push me to work hard, stay focused, and always give my best. Off the field, they show me how to be a good person—how to stay humble, respectful, and kind no matter what. Watching how they handle challenges motivates me to keep going and never give up.
One moment in Drew’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest is when he was out with an elbow injury and couldn’t play, but he still showed up to every game and practice to support his teammates. Even though he wasn’t on the field, he wanted them to know he was still with them. I feel like it taught him that being a good teammate isn’t just about playing—it’s about showing up, encouraging others, and staying committed no matter what.
