You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Drew absolutely loves baseball. He thrives on the challenge and the constant opportunity to grow. The game teaches him resilience—how to pick himself up after an error or tough at-bat—and has helped him develop life skills like perseverance, patience, and determination. For Drew, baseball is more than a sport—it’s a way to grow as both a player and a person.
Drew is inspired by his coaches, who push him to be better every day—on and off the field. They lead by example, showing what it means to work hard, stay positive, and never give up. Their belief in him motivates Drew to keep growing and give his best effort, no matter the outcome
One of my proudest moments was when Drew got called up to the A team for a tournament—and was set to play catcher. The night before, he got hit in the head at a school event, leaving a huge lump on his forehead. But he iced it, tried on the helmet, and told me he wasn’t losing this opportunity. He caught six innings, helped win the championship, and later made the A team—persevering no matter the circumstances
