Dreyden is inspired by his dad, who has always led by example—teaching him the value of hard work, discipline, and heart. Whether it’s cheering from the stands, coaching from the sidelines, or having late-night talks about life and basketball, his dad is his biggest motivator. On and off the court, Dreyden pushes himself to be better every day because he wants to make his dad & family proud. Their bond fuels his drive and keeps him grounded in both sports and life.
One of the proudest moments in Dreyden’s athletic journey was when he kept his composure and encouraged his teammates after a tough loss. Instead of getting frustrated, he lifted others up, showed true leadership, and proved that character matters more than a scoreboard. In that moment, he wasn’t just an athlete—he was a role model. Watching him lead with heart and maturity made me prouder than any win ever could.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
