You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Duke loves baseball because it challenges him to think, strategize, and work as part of a team. He thrives on the excitement of winning and the lessons learned from every game. He knows baseball is one of the hardest sports, and that drives him to practice endlessly, perfect his skills, and master every aspect of the game. For Duke, baseball is more than a sport—it’s a passion that teaches discipline, resilience, and the value of teamwork.
Duke draws his greatest inspiration from his dad, who shares both his passion for baseball and a proud family legacy built around the game. His dad has served as an assistant coach, shaping not only the team but also Duke’s own journey by training with him in the offseason. Through lessons of discipline, strategy, and perseverance, his dad has instilled a relentless drive in Duke to honor his family’s love for baseball, push beyond limits, and pursue excellence on and off the field.
One of my proudest moments was watching Duke study the MLB Home Run Derby, analyzing every stance and swing with determination. Instead of just watching, he asked to practice, working to perfect his mechanics so he can one day compete on that stage. His relentless drive showed me his passion and heart. Even beyond baseball, Duke applies this mindset—learning that with practice, focus, and dedication, he can achieve any goal he sets his mind to.
