Duncan thrives and welcomes any situation of competition on the basketball court. Big game moments with his team is what he dreams about but he doesn’t shy away from foot races during practice.
Steph Curry. As an undersized player, Duncan finds Steph’s background relatable and inspiring. He strives to have Kobe’s mindset and is working to perfect James Harden’s step back. As a student of basketball and an obsession to always get better, Duncan pulls inspiration from all players past and present.
Watching him put his arm around a teammate who missed two free throws in a game winning situation. I couldn’t be prouder of the type of teammate Duncan has become. The way he lifts up his teammates after a miss or turnover is inspiring. Watching him hype up his team from the bench after a big block or three pointer could energize any arena. He pushes his teammates to work hard, doing so in a positive manner. He holds himself accountable and to high standards in-order to lead by example.
