You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
My son loves sports because they give him a chance to move, compete, and connect with others. Whether he's playing basketball, or tossing a football around, he thrives on the energy, challenge, and teamwork that sports bring to his life. He loves pushing himself to improve, cheering on his teammates, and feeling the rush of a great play. Sports aren't just a hobby for him—they're a way to express himself, stay active, and have fun doing what he loves most. Sports are life to him!
Kobe Bryant is very inspiring to Easton because of his strong dedication to the sport. There was a part in the documentary where they won the championship and instead of celebrating Kobe got back to the grind. That was very inspiring to him. The other person that inspires Easton is his football coach Ben Hannula. I asked Easton why and he said because even during our hardest of times or losses Coach told us to keep going and just took those losses as fuel to get better and to keep going.
One proud moment is when a team mate was having a very tough game and things were not going well. I looked over and Easton had his arm around him and was giving him a pep talk and telling him it was going to be okay and the last words he said to him was you got this!
