My son loves soccer because it brings him so much joy. He’s happiest when he’s out on the field, running, competing, and being part of a team. He especially enjoys the challenge of improving his skills, scoring goals, and celebrating wins with his teammates. Soccer gives him confidence and teaches him the value of hard work and teamwork.
My son looks up to Lamine Yamal because he sees himself in him especially because he’s a young player chasing big dreams and accomplishing his goals. He admires Lamine’s confidence, creativity, and how fearless he is on the field, even at such a young age. Watching Lamine play motivates my son to work harder, believe in himself, and imagine one day playing at that level too.
One of the moments I’m proudest of in my son’s athletic journey is watching how he’s faced challenges related to his height with so much determination. Instead of getting discouraged, he works twice as hard to prove that skill, heart, and effort matter more than size. His resilience and drive to constantly improve show me that he’s not just growing as an athlete, but as a strong, confident young man.
