Eliana loves traveling to different tournaments and showcases and building relationships with different players from all across the country. Being a lacrosse goalie has it's own level of love; having the privilege to play with such skilled and dedicated athletes is an honor.
Eliana is inspired by pro-athletes, like Angie Benson who show what the future could be. Her coaches, Meg Milhaven & Quinn Lacy, who always encourage her to follow her dreams on & off the field; whether it's running for class officer or playing in the school marching band they have always supported her. She is also inspired by her friends. Since they all come from different walks of life, it is always a blessing to learn something new or see a different perspective without judgment.
The proudest moment in their athletic journey is having the courage to stay and play a sport with little diversity and so many bias' and politics involved. To be an example to the little girls that look like her, in a sport where it is difficult to find your place and can feel unwelcoming, especially in a specialty position is inspiration and I as a parent am proud of her unwavering strength, dedication, determination & bravery everyday.
