He loves being part of a team where everyone is playing for a shared purpose and could have fun while doing it.
His grandmother inspires him and always motivates him to do his best. She tells him to always be humble before his opponents and teammates and to show great sportsmanship. Before every game she cheers him on by telling him, “we winning,” which pushes him to do great on the field.
The one moment that made me proudest was when he stopped a teammate from running to hit an opponent after the opponent called him a name. I teach him to always be a leader, to step up to be the bigger person in every situation and try to bring peace when he can.
