What Elijah loves the most about playing this sport is the competitive nature of the game. He thrives from the competition. He keeps his cool and loves to win. Loves to lead and rally his teammates and friends to victory.
Lamar Jackson inspires Elijah on the field. The way he prepares for the game. The way he plays the game. The way he keeps proving everyone wrong who keeps doubting him. The way he deals with it is exactly what I go through. It’s motivation. My parents off the field because they work hard and push me to be great and to never quit. They always tell me finish what you start and remind me that this is my dream and this is what I want and they are their to support me.
One moment that makes us the proudest is when he faced the 3x Super Bowl champions and the team was losing confidence and he rallied the team together and was very vocal and drove down the field as the general he is and scored and scored and they fought to the end and ended up losing 20-14 but no team had scored on them all year or was ever that close. Thats when we knew he was a competitor and he loved the game.
