Elijah loves the thrill of competition, being part of a team, and the challenge of constantly improving his skills. He especially enjoys stepping up in big moments and making plays that help his team succeed. Baseball is his passion, and he loves the friendships and memories it creates along the way.
Elijah is inspired by his dad, who grew up without a father or strong family support but chose to break that cycle for Elijah. He’s been a constant source of coaching and encouragement. Elijah wears #2 like his dad did in high school, honoring him. His dad’s strength, dedication, and love teach Elijah to lead, overcome challenges, and always give his best—both on and off the field.
One of the proudest moments in Elijah’s athletic journey was during a tight game when his team was down by two runs with players on first and third. The pressure was high, but Elijah stayed calm and focused. He stepped up with a crucial RBI and followed it with a sacrifice that ultimately helped win the game. It wasn’t just his skill at the plate that stood out—it was his composure, team-first mindset, and ability to rise to the occasion when it mattered most.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
