What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He enjoys testing his basketball skills against others and the thrill of close games, growing in his skills and learning new tricks. He also enjoys the friiendships and teamwork.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Professional NBA player, Giannis Antetokounmpo inspires Elijah, his personal stories of overcoming challenges inspire resilience and commitment. Showing what's possible with hard work and discipline, his skill, leadership, and confidence motivates Elijah to dream big.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The proudest moment for me as Elijah's mom was during a game where they missed several shots and were clearly frustrated. But instead of giving up, he kept playing hard, encouraged his teammates, and hustled to the very end. That resilience, leadership, and positive attitude in a tough moment, that made me prouder than any trophy ever could. It showed me he is not just growing as a player but as a person.
