There is so much Elijah loves about sports. He loves the social aspect. He loves the strict schedule. He is extremely committed. After having labrum surgery, he was out of sports for 7 months. He still went to every single basketball practice and game knowing he would never get to play. As soon was he was cleared, he started running track and playing baseball.
Elijah has had fantastic coaches along the way. This past year, hos track coach was everything to him. Pushed him to be the best that he could be. Off the field, family, friends, youth pastor, and most importantly, God.
As a freshman, Elijah was put in on varsity on the very first Friday Night Lights game. He scored a touchdown!
