Nebraska volleyball player Skyler Pierce inspires her. Skyler was there for a few of Elise's practices last year and watching Skyler play was electric. Always so much energy which is why Elise is inspired.
One moment in Elise's athletic journey that makes me proud is when she worked all summer, every day, no matter what trying to make herself better. She would run, jump, work with weights, and play volleyball for the past 2 summers. This work clearly made a difference and got her a spot on the 1s team.
