Elise loves playing soccer in Florida because it challenges her to train and compete year-round in all conditions. She thrives in the heat, loves the fast-paced games, and enjoys the strong competition across the state. Most of all, she loves the friendships she’s built, the feeling of pushing herself to the limit, and the pride of representing her team every time she steps on the field. Soccer in Florida fuels her passion and drive like nowhere else.
Elise is inspired by Kobe Bryant, she studies his mindset, quotes, and relentless “Mamba Mentality” to fuel her drive. She’s also inspired by her dad, who teaches her to lead with strength, stand up for what’s right, and never give up on or off the field.
One of the proudest moments in Elise’s soccer journey was during a tough game when her team was down and frustrated. As the natural leader, she stayed mentally tough, encouraged her teammates, and never let her energy drop. She led by example, pushing through the pressure and staying focused. At just 10, she showed incredible maturity, grit, and leadership when her team needed it most and that moment proved how special she truly is.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
