What Ella enjoys most about playing softball is the teamwork it builds. Her softball girls are her family on and off the field. She looks forward to scoring runs, catching balls and working hard at being successful. Ella is very proud of herself and the work she puts in every season at our local REC team. Softball has really helped build her character even when getting hit in the ribs with a softball can hurt and knock the wind out of you, she's still pushed through.
Many people I would say inspire Ella on and off the field. We've had a lot of loss in our lives so her NaNa, Grammy and Pappy are all watching over her. Both myself and her dad both played softball( myself in highschool and her dad as an adult.) She idolizes Kaitlyn Morrison graduated from South Park High School and Penn State as her father works with her uncle at his job so she has seen her player cards and how much she has accomplished and done in her time playing ball.
There are so many moments that make me the proudest of her. Making the only hit and scoring the first run in. Being comfortable with trying things that maybe scary and out of her comfort zone. Cheering on the other team when someone gets hit or is just having a bad day. Helping her teammates cheer up after getting out or getting hurt. She's quick to help anyone in need.
