My senior gymnastic and dance teammates. Seeing what they can do is a daily reminder and visual goal for what I will be able to do one day too. Suni Lee is my professional inspiration as she has eczema like me. Seeing someone at Suni’s caliber who has also had less than perfect looking skin is a reminder that talent talks loudest.
This year has been Ellie’s moment. The year started with a week long hospitalization related to her eczema. She learned choreo from her hospital bed during this time. Once back home Ellie spent extra time in the gym to make up for lost time. She won All Around Champion of the weekend at the Rutgers Knight Meet. She won 1st All Around at the 2025 Region 7 Regional Championship. She had an undefeated acro duet this dance season. And even won on her school’s spelling bee.
