What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ellie loves the thrill she gets from each one of her sports. That rush of adrenaline she gets whether she’s running across an open field, around the track or down the alley with her equine partner. These three sports have made Ellie both physically and mentally tough person which will help her excel in life.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ellie would say the person that has most inspired her most off the field is her mom. She’s always Ellie‘s biggest cheer cheerleader and stands by her no matter the outcome. Ellie also has been blessed with many professional rodeo athletes in her life. She’s got to compete against some of the greats out there. She really looks up to the legendary Sherry Cervi. In the cross country and track world Ellie looks up to the upperclassman in her high school and hopes to accomplish great things.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It’s hard to just pick one moment with Ellie. She’s had so many great accomplishments in her short lifetime. I guess the thing that I’m most proud of her is her dedication day in and day out whether she’s sick or tired she gets up with a smile on her face. She practices her multiple events and takes care of her animals because she knows they come first. On top of that she is a straight A student.
