Ellie loves playing softball because she gets to play the sport she loves with her friends. Ellie loves the competition and the thrill of the game!
Ellie is inspired by her father, who was a great baseball/ slow pitch softball player. She even wants to wear her dads number which is 14!
Ellie and her team were playing a game against an opposing school and Ellie was the closer pitcher. She pitched the 3rd and 4th innings and total thrown pitches for both innings was 21! She never let the other team make a hit on base! The look on her face was of pure happiness! I was the most proud of her at that moment! She stayed strong but humble!
