What Elliott loves most about playing baseball is the chance to face new challenges, especially when going up against really competitive teams. He tries to stay confident and be a leader by encouraging his teammates when they’re feeling down. Even when his team loses, it only gives him more determination to come back stronger and win the next game.
The person who inspires Elliott the most is his dad. His dad used to play baseball at Elliott’s age, and Elliott wants to be just like him. He helps Elliott get better by practicing with him and talking with him about his games. His dad supports him no matter what and helps him learn from his wins and his mistakes.
One of the proudest moments in Elliott’s athletic journey was when his team worked together and kept pushing, even though they hadn’t won many games earlier in the season. They never gave up and battled their way to win first place rings at a championship tournament. That moment showed Elliott how far teamwork and determination can take you.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
