Receive Text UpdatesEmbry loves competing with herself after each event! Her mindset is that she wants to be better than she was the day before! She’s self motivated! She works hard every day to get stronger! She said, “Having the ability to play sports makes me feel alive! God is leading me and I won’t back down! I am aiming to be the best athlete I can and I put in the work to prove it! Faith without works is dead!” Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13!
In basketball it is Flaujae Johnson because she is full of motivational speeches and she puts in alot of work to be who she is!! She knows that if she puts in just as much as her that when she gets to high school she can obtain those results! On the track it is Sha’carri Richardson! She has great skills and techniques! Embty looks at her and she knows that there is nothing that she can’t do! She loves cross country and aims to get stronger! Her BMS and AAU coaches also inspire her to be great!
I watched her go from playing biddy ball for 3 years to her going straight to AAU. When she begin AAU, she couldn’t even touch the rim when she shot! She was always falling and could not control the ball. I now see her shooting 3 pointers, making lay ups, playing serious defense, stealing the ball, and so much more.
