What I love most about playing sports is seeing how much I've grown. It's proof that when you put in the work, good things really do come. I also love all the memories l've made along the way, with different people, in different moments and the strong bonds I've built that I know will last a lifetime.
My family inspires me both on and off the field because each one of them is always working toward something, chasing goals and trying to grow in their own way. Seeing their determination motivates me to keep pushing for my own dreams. They believe in me no matter what, and that support drives me to work even harder.
What I think is one of my greatest accomplishments through out my sports has been my first year of ever playing rugby, I got the opportunity to play on team Alberta as a starter and soon after got Backs MVP for the team. A couple months after that I got chosen to be the u16 Female MVP of the year for the rugby league in the Edmonton area. It was an honour to be selected in a field of many strong female athletes.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
