What Emit loves most about sports is competing- not only with others, but with himself. He is always striving to win, whether that be a game of monopoly or a game on the court/field. He is aggressive and ALWAYS plays with his entire heart and body; leaving it all on the court.
Steph Curry & Kobe Bryant have been a big part of Emit's inspiration. Steph Curry didn't shy away or back down because of his size or abilities. Instead, he changed the game & became an integral part of the Warriors' success. Kobe is an inspiration for his "Mamba Mentality." He trained and trained HARD to become great. He always emphasized the work it takes and no one can do it for you or take it away. Both Steph & Kobe gave back to the community & have halped advance women's sports.
Emit recently transitioned from playing with school friends to a brand new team. He had to try out for his new team & he knew no one. He made the team & has since stepped up & risen to the occasion numerous times. Whether that be his THREE buzzer beater shot or his team going 4-0 at one of their very first Under Armour tournaments. Emit is always ready to fill the role that the team needs from him. From point guard, to defense, to assists or him being a rebound machine... Emit gives it his ALL!
