What Emma loves most about playing soccer is the intense thrill of the competition. The adrenaline rush in a close game and the hard work it takes to win fuels her passion for the sport.
On and off the field, Emma is inspired by Christine Sinclair. The attention and passion Christine has brought to women’s soccer motivates my daughter to strive to be just like her idol.
My proudest moment in Emma’s athletic journey was when we found out she would be representing Team Alberta at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It is an incredible achievement, reflecting all her hard-work and dedication. This is especially meaningful as she will be playing in her father’s hometown, and all our family and friends will be able to watch her compete.
