Emma Bailey loves the competition and the constant challenge to improve both physically and mentally. She enjoys the friendships built through her teams and takes pride in encouraging her teammates to get better alongside her. For Emma, sports are not just about winning—they’re about pushing herself and others to reach their full potential while having fun together.
Emma's cousin, Jenna Johnson, inspires her to be her best and keep pushing through all challenges with faith. As Emma’s mom, I’m inspired watching her dedication—not just to sports, but to her faith, school, and friends. She’s driven, but humble, always looking for ways to improve and help others along the way. I’ve seen her push through challenges with grit and grace, and I couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she’s becoming both on and off the field.
I am proud of the way Emma handles herself when she makes mistakes or feels she’s not at her best. Instead of getting discouraged, she focuses on improving and always goes back to her fundamentals. One moment I’m most proud of is when she was playing center field, caught the ball that was hit to her and then threw the runner out at third. On top of that, she mentors younger athletes, coaching youth basketball and softball, always encouraging them to stay confident and keep learning.
