Thank you for generously supporting Emma in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Emma loves the challenge and excitement that each sport brings, but more than that, she loves pushing herself to be better every day. Whether she’s in a wrestling match or playing football with the boys, she thrives on competition and personal growth. She also values the camaraderie that sports build, the bonds with teammates, the respect between competitors, and the way everyone becomes part of something bigger than themselves.
Emma is deeply inspired by her dad, a Green Beret, whose discipline and courage she admires. He has taught her to never back down and to always put in the work, even when no one is watching. She also looks up to Olympian Sarah Hildebrandt, whose achievements in wrestling inspire Emma to dream big and break barriers. Both have shown her that strength, resilience, and kindness are not only compatible, but necessary for greatness.
One of our proudest moments was when Emma earned multiple challenge coins at Rocky Mountain Nationals for her sportsmanship. After beating a tough opponent, she noticed the girl was upset, went back, told her she wrestled great, and gave her tips to win her next match. Coaches and officials recognized Emma not just for her skills, but for her class, kindness, and respect, proving her character shines beyond the mat.
