Join the CompetitionEmma truly loves everything about softball. She started at 4 years old and hasn’t stopped. When Covid hit she would beg to go practice because we couldn’t have practice at the time. She’s spent many of hours outside putting in work to make herself better. She loves just being at the ball field whether it be practice or spending the whole day there for a tournament. She loves the adrenaline of a big win and will talk about it for days!
Her older teammates from her school ball team. At hitting lessons several years ago when she first started going, she’d see the older girls hitting and say “I’m going to hit like that one day, I can’t wait to hit like that!” Her hitting coach and I were just talking a few lessons ago about how she is there! She loves watching them make the big plays! She also loves watching the college players! Her dream is to play softball at Alabama and with the work she puts in, I believe she’ll do just that!
Emma likes to pick everyone up regardless of how she’s feeling. She hates to see anyone sad. After a big loss she will be the first to tell you she’s upset/mad about it, but will never let it show to her team mates or coaches. She always shows up. Even if she’s sick or hurt, she is always there for her team!
