Emma lives &loves volleyball! She is in 9th grade & just made her JV volleyball team! She wants to study physical therapy to help athletes

Emma loves being part of a team. She loves the full body workout she gets from playing volleyball. Her smile brightens even more when she has a volleyball in her hand. What she loves the most is hitting the ball as an outside hitter and seeing the crowd get excited!
Her mom is her inspiration. Having played herself but currently suffering with health issues, her mom is her biggest supporter even when there is no strength left for her to practice with Emma. Her mom practices with her, guides her and allows Emma to love the game of Volleyball.
Emma has played many sports, she ran track, played basketball & soccer. But one day when she picked up a volleyball we knew she was meant to play. She has put in dedication, hard work, and relentless pursuit of excellence to become the player she is today. My proudest moment was watching her confidence blossom by helping her team mates learn how to properly play volleyball. It showed leadership & character to want to be there for others and help them better themselves. So proud of her!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
