Emma loves softball for the friendships and memories made with her teammates. Traveling the country with her national team fuels her passion. She thrives on the fast pace at third base and embraces the game’s challenges—knowing that even after a week of hard work, success isn’t guaranteed. It’s the highs, lows, and love for the game that keep her coming back.
Emma is inspired by her community and family. Since her freshman year, softball has grown in popularity at her school, once known only for basketball. The growing crowds, especially during the state run, and the young kids who look up to her motivate Emma to lead by example. She’s proud to help shift the culture, encouraging more students to explore softball and build something lasting.
The proudest moment was Emma’s comeback from a dislocated knee and NPFL surgery. Told recovery would take 9 months, she returned in just 4—thanks to relentless rehab and determination. She led her team to a 24-2 season losing in the regional final and earned 2nd Team All-Ohio as a freshman. Her grit carried into the next year, where she helped her team win a state title. Emma never gave up—and that’s what makes her truly special.
