Thank you for generously supporting Emmanuel in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Emmanuel loves the game because it allows him to have fun, dominate on the court, and give all the glory to God. As a point guard, he takes pride in leading his team and staying committed to his personal growth and daily development- as an athlete, student, and a young man of faith.
Emmanuel is inspired first and foremost by Jesus Christ, who gives him purpose and strength. He also draws deep motivation from his parents, siblings, and the rest of his family, who support and uplift him. On the court, he looks up to LeBron James—not just for his talent, but for his leadership, discipline, and longevity in the game.
One of the proudest moments in Emmanuel’s journey happened recently. He had a big opportunity to play his first game at the Intuit Dome—where the LA Clippers play. At the same time, his older brother had a major tournament for his senior year. Emmanuel selflessly encouraged me to go support his brother, saying, “It’s his last year—he needs you more.” That moment showed his character, maturity, and love for family. He’s not just an athlete—he’s a leader with heart.
