Thank you for generously supporting Emmett in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Emmett says his favorite thing is the process. Whether it’s working at the field with me or working at practice with his teams. He loves the process. Second would be spending time in the battle with his friends.
Off the field his dad. He has never told me know when I wanted to go in the driveway or to the field to work on things. He pushes me out of my comfort zone and that helps me reach new levels. Definitely my dad. On the field his best friends are ridiculously talented too. They all inspire each other and push each other to their fullest potential. They truly bring out the best in each other through friendly competition.
Every moment good or bad makes me proudest. He averages double digit tackles, 4 touchdowns a game in football. He’s usually good for 16 points and 14 rebounds in basketball. Tried soccer for the first time this spring and ended up team captain and led the team in goals and assists. Everyday is a proud day. Everyone sees a “freak athlete” but nobody sees the countless hours of work he puts in off the field like I do. I have yet to meet a kid that outworks Emmett.
