Receive Text UpdatesEmory often talks about the appreciation and value of friendships she has forged throughout her softball journey. She has a deep passion for being a pitcher and team leader, and the thrill she gets when throwing that game or tournament winning pitch.
Emory finds inspiration from both her coaches and favorite player, Teagan Kavan. She values the way her coaches challenge her to improve as a player and teammate, and appreciates their focus on building her mental toughness. Emory really enjoys watching Teagan Kavan pitch and is always impressed by her relaxed yet authoritative presence on the field.
My proudest moment of Emory’s athletic journey is seeing her ability to overcome adversity. She was once told that she would never be more than a “1 inning” pitcher. Rather than being discouraged, she worked hard and diligently to quickly become the “GO TO” pitcher for her teams going forward.
