He loves soccer becuase it brings out the best in him, the joy of running fast, playing hard, pushing himself to be his best. Hes a naturally gifted well rounded athlete who excels in multiple sports but soccer is his favorite, the energy the teamwork and freedom he feels on the field. What makes it more special is how he inspires others, younger athletes they want to play with him, and he always makes them feel welcome and excited to play. He lights a spark in everyone around him.
He is really inspired by his coach from the past two seasons becuase of the amazing attitude he brings every day. His coach is always positive, encouraging, and inspiring, which motivates Enzo to work harder and believe in himself. Enzo also looks up to him because he is also a soccer player for college and a pro team showing him that with dedication and love for the game anything is possible. It means a lot to Enzo to learn from someone who not only teaches but also lives what he teaches.
One of the proudest moments was when Enzo was nominated by his coaches to represent his academy team at a U.S. Soccer scouting session. Performing in front of Youth National Team Scouts, he showed great skill and determination. That experience truly reflected how far his hard work and love for the game have taken him. No matter what happens next, we are incredibly proud of him.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
