What I love most about wrestling and track is the way they push me to be my best—physically and mentally. Wrestling teaches me grit, focus, and discipline, while track gives me the thrill of speed and constant improvement. Both sports challenge me in different ways, but they share one thing: the sense of accomplishment that comes from hard work and seeing progress. I love being part of a team that supports each other and competing with everything I have.
My biggest inspiration is my dad. He’s always believed in me and helps me push through doubts and tough moments. When I feel overwhelmed or unsure, he reminds me of how far I’ve come and what I’m capable of. He helps me stay focused, confident, and grounded—whether I’m facing a tough match, a bad practice, or just a hard day. His support helps me overcome obstacles mentally and keeps me moving forward, both in sports and in life.
My proudest athletic moment was placing third at the Wisconsin State Wrestling Tournament. It was my first time competing at state, and I proved to myself that I belonged there. Winning that final match with a pin felt like all the hard work, early mornings, and tough practices had paid off. It wasn’t just about the medal—it was about overcoming pressure, believing in myself, and finishing strong. That moment showed me how far I’ve come and how far I can still go.
