What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I've been playing soccer since I was 3, and it’s been my passion ever since. I love the excitement and challenge of the game especially scoring a game winning goal. Soccer has taught me teamwork, discipline, how to work hard, and how to over come obstacles. My favorite players, Sophia Smith and Megan Rapinoe, inspire me to keep improving. Soccer is more than a game to me; it’s my escape, my drive, and an essential part of who I am

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom is my biggest inspiration, both on and off the field. As a cancer survivor, she’s shown me the true meaning of resilience and perseverance. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s never lost sight of her goals. She supports me every day in my dream to play soccer, reminding me that hard work and determination can overcome any challenge. Her strength and unwavering belief in me push me to keep going, no matter what obstacles come my way

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in my athletic journey that makes me the proudest was when I had a bone tumor. During the off-season, I underwent two surgeries to remove it, but that didn’t stop me from improving. Even while recovering, I watched soccer films to stay connected to the game. I knew I couldn’t physically play, but I used that time to learn and grow mentally. That period showed me that no matter the obstacles, dedication and learning can still drive progress
