Ethan loves the adrenaline, the challenge, and the camaraderie that comes with every game. As a 4x Male Athlete of the Year, elite goalie, CWOSSA/CWOFSSA finalist, and honour student, he thrives in high-pressure moments and leads by example. Whether it’s making a game-saving stop or motivating his football team, he finds purpose in pushing his limits and supporting his teammates—on the field, on the ice, and in the classroom.
As a goalie, my biggest inspiration has always been our late family friend Ray Emery. My parents grew up with him, and I’ve always admired his style, drive, and determination. Despite serious injury, he fought his way back to full form and went on to win the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks—that resilience stuck with me. For track and field, my motivation is my mom. She was a decorated athlete at my high school and now helps coach our team. Her support and legacy inspire me every day.
One of the proudest moments in my athletic journey was making it to CWOFSSA in Windsor, Ontario in 2024 for the 100m hurdles. Finishing 7th overall against some of the best athletes in the province was an unforgettable experience. It meant a lot to see my hard work and training pay off on such a big stage. Stepping onto that track and representing my school at that level was something I’ll always be proud of.
