I love most about playing basketball is the feeling of relief and energy I get every time I step on the court. It’s a place where I can clear my mind, work hard, and grow both as a player and a person. I love the work that comes with the game. I enjoy the grind- long hard trainings, early and late workouts, and the constant repetition. The effort I put in behind closed doors makes every moment more meaningful and rewarding.
My dad inspires me both on and off the court because of his remarkable dedication, strength, and examples he sets every day. On the court he pushes me to give my all even when it’s hard, and stay focused, showing me what it means to be disciplined. Off the court he has kindness and a strong work ethic, teaching me the importance of character, responsibility, and treating others with respect. His constant support and belief he carry’s motivates me to be the best person I can on and off the court
One moment in my athletic journey that makes me the proudest is the day I received my first D1 offer. Knowing that all my hard work, dedication and commitment goes unnoticed is a blessing and a privilege in itself. Seeing how proud my family and friends were made it even more special, knowing I achieved what they have been dreaming of me since I first started my athletic journey.
