Receive Text UpdatesEvan loves playing with and motivating his teammates who are like brothers to him. He thrives in big games against the top competition and under the most immense pressure, but at the end of the day, it's about doing it with his brothers on the ice.
Evan is inspired by those athletes who not only incredibly talented, but those that work hard on and off the ice, are community and team leaders, and are great with family and friends. He very much looks up to Marc Andre Fleury and his goalie coach, Brent Johnson.
After a big win, Evan instantly noticed that the opposing team's goalie was upset with the loss. He delayed his celebration with his team and first went over to the opposing goalie, pointed out to him that he had a great game and told him to keep his head up. Then the two hugged before going to their respective locker rooms.
