What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Evan loves challenging himself to learn the sport and to try all of the positions. He is dedicated to being a good teammate and likes to share the field and let his teammates excel as well. He loves attending camps to perfect his skills and enjoys the games and tournaments so he can see how he stacks up against other players. You will always find him setting up his goals and practices til the sun goes down.Ive never seen him without a soccer ball nearby. He challenges himself to be better .

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Evans biggest inspiration is Lamine Yamal. He is in awe of what he has achieved at such a young age and it gives him the fire to train hard and work to be better everyday. It gives him the hope that hard work and dedication can get him where he wants to be in the sport.Coach Alex from his Rio Rapids club has also been a big influence in his love and dedication to soccer. He was there when Evan was first learning and figuring out if this was the sport for him.He taught him to strive to be better.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

After playing for only a little over a year he was chosen to train with Barca in Spain and was a standout player. He held fund raisers because he wanted to help pay for camps and training on his own. Evan trains hard, plays hard and truly pays attention to those coaching him. He respects those sharing their time and wisdom with him and tries to make them proud that he’s learning and improving .Hes open to all methods of training Barca last year and Paris St.Germain this year..Never stop learning .
