What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

EJ really loves the energy of the game. There’s something about being on the field, running around, and going for that big play that excites him. I think he also enjoys the teamwork aspect a lot — build camaraderie and the whole 'we’re in this together' feeling. But what stands out the most is how much he enjoys the challenge. Every game is an opportunity to get better and show what he can do!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

EJ Is inspired by Tom Brady because of his relentless work ethic and determination. He wasn’t the most physically gifted player, but he kept proving everyone wrong with his commitment to improving, no matter the odds. His ability to stay focused, even under the most intense pressure, is something EJ really admires. Plus, his longevity in the game shows that with the right mindset, you can keep pushing and achieving at the highest level, no matter your age or circumstances.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My son faced a very difficult and personal situation loosing his little brother to an accidental drowning at our home. Seeing him persevere, ask for help, and push through his struggles to succeed on and off the field was a defining moment. I saw him not just as my little boy but as someone strong, capable, and resilient, ready to take on the world young man which makes us so proud!
